Many people have asked me for a copy of Kaiou, and I had released it onto my "Scripting Vault" website, in January 2001. However, because NBCI is being a stupid server, that website is no longer up. I don't have the space to upload EVERYTHING that was up (I had a ton of stuff) but here you can find the most recent versions of Kaiou (including patches).
Kaiou Update News
03/28/02 - The Kaiou 6.5 patch has been released! Read the Kaiou Information section for more about this patch and what it adds. Please note that there is a huge note that MUST be read before downloading this patch!
02/26/02 - Kaiou 6.0e Complete was released. To make things easy for everyone I zipped up the entire bot (patches and all) and converted it over into a setup.exe which is inside the zip. Unzip the file into a temporary folder (c:\temp\ for example) and run the setup.exe! The installer will take care of the rest.

Kaiou 6.0 - Splash Screen, 6.0 readme
After I made 5.0 I said that I would never work on this bot again, but sure enough here it is. I worked on 6.0 for a small bit, as you will later find out by reading the readme for it. I started to edit the ini files to make more room, and also added a new CHARGING system.
This patch is included in the Kaiou 6.0e Complete Package!
6.0b Patch - Splash Screen, 6.0b readme
Things started to pick up the pace a small bit. I added the Room of Spirit and Time, re-wrote the !addboost command, added two new types of equipment slots, and a few other things. Not that bad of a patch.

6.0d Patch - Splash Screen, 6.0d readme
This might be the best patch that I've made EVER! I went through the entire bot with Rowen and helped to get rid of any excess junk that wasn't needed, and to fix EVERY bug I could find! I also added ACCESSORIES for the first time as well as a RAGE event that happens if you get hit too much, among other things of course.

6.0e Patch - Splash Screen, 6.0e readme
A very small patch when compared to some of the others. It fixed a bug, added three basic AI types, and a few other things. This patch was mostly made so I could release the Kaiou 6.0e Complete package.

6.5 Patch - Splash Scren, 6.5 readme
This is another good patch (or so I think). The new equipment system was long over-due, and I just now got around to updating it. This patch also adds basic MAGIC into the bot, as well as PRICE and BUY EQUIPMENT commands. The #DBZRPG MUD has been added to this version as well as the #DBZRPG POPUPS! Hip hip Horray! After this version they will be a seperate download, so enjoy this extra bonus!

Kaiou Update Checker - Snap Shot
I thought about this project for a bit, but never really knew if I had enough expirence with a programming language (in this case, Visual Basic) to make it. However, it turns out that I did. This is the first version, with another update down the road sometime. THIS IS NOT AN mIRC SCRIPT! Visual Basic Runtime files ARE NEEDED in order to run this! NEW: If you're running Kaiou 6.5 and would like to use this program, Download the Version File and put it into your Kaiou directory!

Here's where you can download the latest patches. Note that before you download any patch you should first download a "Complete" version (currently Kaiou 6.0e Complete). The patches are not a stand-alone bot, and will not work without the complete version already there. Also note that the popups and mud are included in the 6.5 patch, but future patches will not include these, and they will be a seperate download. With that in mind, click on what you want to download and enjoy.
